- a being from the woods in brazillian folklore.
the one legged trickster, fond of pipes, he knows the secrets of the herbs; his magical red cap allows him to ride dust devils and whirlwinds. might be malicious depending on the region.

he's associated with the orisha Ossanha, or Ossaim, who knows all plants and their medicinal uses, present in many sects of afro-brazilian religions, like candomblé.
