Most of you you won't understand the context behind this lovely little concept for a couple shared between myself and Mouka. But I'll do my best to give a bit of an explanation.When Adriel (the guy on the boat in this illustration) and Osias (the lovely merman) first came into contact with one another... Adriel was essentially a player, who had his eye set on Osias because the guy was an ophanim. For even MORE context, these two are regularly angels. Osias is an ophanim, the warrior rank of angel. While Adriel is an ishim, the guardian angel rank. At that point in time, it was very rare for ophanim to interact with other angel types as they're until recently a very insular species. Thus, the concept of even being in a RELATIONSHIP with an ophanim is very much a rarity.
Thus Adriel kept referring to Osias as his "white whale", and calling himself "Ishmael".
Now this funny little quirk at the start of the relationship led into this cute little idea of Adriel and Oz playing the respective roles. Adriel as the positively obsessed Captain Ahab. Osias as the white whale. Or merperson, cuz merpeople are fun to draw. X3

Merman-Ozzy the July photo of Adriel's 'Ozzy pin-up calendar'! It's full of manipulations of Ozzy being various sexy creatures xD He hangs it in the living room right next to his excessively gigantic TV, and poor Ozzy gets to constantly see it out of the corner of his eye every time they watch movies together.
THIS MONTH features rabbit-Ozzy, because EASTER. Though he looks more like some male version of a Playboy bunny than an innocent rabbit. WILL ADRIEL'S PERVERSIONS EVER END.

Indeedily. Though I'm sure Adriel will be just fine. Though he did lose his life of "bachelor" in the process. No longer does he search for another mate once he tires of the current one he's with. Cuz Ozzy is the greatest catch of all~
