Sorry for the late upload, yesterday's studying went overtime, and there's much more to do-- Okida, you take this one.
Okida : Finally I'm back! I'm back! Real life priorities...BAH! What kind of poor excuse is that Evan?! So I return just in time to make a snarky comment about how Scourge's ultimate attack is a giant energy yoyo! That or I could make conspiracy theory jokes about GUN...but I grew tired of them when the Shadow the hedgehog came out and I had to listen to the President talk.

I love your art and GOTF! It's one of my favorite comics! It's inspired me to make my own comic to practice my art skills, and I can't wait to get started. However, I am young and unlearned in these ways, so I have a few questions. What do you use for editing/coloring? Or do you do all digital now? Also, (and I feel like this is a really dumb question, but whatever) how do you get your panels laid out and such? Are their any storyboard/writing websites or apps you would recommend? Thanks!

As I remember, I think she uses Photoshop. She's a profesional comic artist, so she knows how to do it right.

Also Krita is a good software. It has a lot of brushes o chose from as well as comic starters. Its free and works great, but you need a drawing tablet or stylus for it to work. X3 I Know this comment was a lot later but its still helpful info.

You could try Gimp, it's a good, free software. You can draw, photomanipulate, and create animated gifs, like in photoshop.

Indeed I do-- Ghost of the Future is hosted at Middle Ground Comics and has a nice little page for easy reading. A few of the older pages are oddly updated (one's got an advancement issue, others are too big; problems I don't have clearance to fix), but you can get around 'em with the drop-down archive menu if needed.

"If you're tumblin' down, and your spirits fall..." (song from Pikachu's Rescue Adventure) Since my brain runs on a pun-based fuel, that song immediately began playing in my head the moment I saw that fourth "panel."
With how long I've been following this story, never mind how much I adore this story, I don't comment nearly enough. I've been waiting to find out what in the world is happening in the flashbacks, but while part of me is all, "Hm, G.U.N. and Eggman were working together? Or perhaps it's just Nichole using anyone and everyone to her advantage to accomplish...something? Huh." Most of my brain is, "I need to see Sonic and Shadow's bromance!"
I always like to see characters interacting and reacting to new situations, which is why I'm most interested in a story's beginning rather than end. Not totally the case with this; I'm still very excited to see where the story is going! A big part of it may be because of the flashbacks too. You didn't give too much away about Sonic's and Shadow's interactions over the last 200 years, or much at all on their reaction to well, y'know,Β Sonic being a ghost, among other important changes.Β I didn't know that we would ever get a look at that! So yeah! I'm excited to be Back in Black...and white.
Though, I could be enthusiastic because we may have reached a point where questions need answers before even the characters can move on, if only because Silver is the protagonist and not Sonic. We all know that Sonic would not be asking questions, just marking off the checklist in his brain of what to kick to save the world this week. There's also this gathering of characters that's got me hyped: Sicily, who's got some 'splainin' to do, Blaze and Silver, a reunited couple...with some 'splainin' to do, Green-Eyes Metal Sonic who may know everything you're going to do but that's not going to help him since you know everything he's going to do (STRANGE, ISN'T IT?), oh and needs some 'splainin', Sonic, who is now (in what I'm assuming is some kind of closed-space) with said compromised Metal Sonic with whom he is always displeased to see, he'll want some 'splainin' but not much (I mentioned the kick list,) and last, but certainly not least, an unconscious, previously multi-"possessed (if only for a moment)", in-need-of-so-much-ibuprofen-not-to-mention-more-than-a-little-TLC, Shadow...and a good hot bowl of 'splainin'.
With all of those orders of 'splainin' (a.k.a. explaining) gathered at the same table, it's just more of a reason to cut to something completely different!Β Though, I could be wrong about the "closed-space thing," I am sensing an impending "cool down moment," that, ironically, will have everyone involved feeling anything but chill. That wasn't even a Blaze joke, but it could be once I see what happens with our heroes...

I have to admit, all the main players were pretty conveniently placed close to each other. It would have been kind of embarassing for Scourge if everyone was standing far appart. But wait, I thought Sicily and Mecha were farther away from the group and closer to Silver's mom... so maybe the parents got sucked in too?
