Oh yeah, because Tumblr somehow managed to suck me back into a fandom I'd almost completely forgotten about D: DAMN YOU, TUMBLR

I felt like drawing some of the old unreleased/rejected Mutant designs, so here's the Aisha, both the old and new versions! I genuinely really like both of them... if they were both somehow available I'd probably find some way to have both of them. They could be BESTEST BUDDIES EVER. Mutant kitty bros gotta stick together \o/

The rejected design is more scarier than the accepted one...to me anyway...
Some of the mutants, like the lupe and kougra, are not scary at all....some, though, are. .__.

Exact same thing happened to me, now I'm collecting pets like mad and dressing them up. x_x Mutants are my favorites but some of them are so expensive! Crazy inflation on the site these days. I liked it better when mutants were cheap because all the young kids didn't think they were cute.

I love the unreleased mutant aisha, I think it's one of the few designs to genuinely kinda freak me out. Same with the unreleased tyrannian buzz, it's terrifying! I WANT ONE.

I remember when almost all the Transmog potions were like 50k or less. I had a TON of mutants back in the day because they were all so cheap! Sometimes I wish I could go back and tell my younger self to hoard as many potions as possible because if I had I'd be a Neo-billionaire today. Nowadays I focus more on dressing cheaply-painted pets up all pretty rather than trying to actually paint them anything expensive, orz.

I LOVED THAT TYRANNIAN BUZZ.

Oh lord, memories! Some of the mutant designs were genuinely unsettling. It was freaky.

I had a Fairy Aisha on my second account. It was the only Aisha species I really genuinely liked. I still remember being all pissy when the cute little Tatsus got turned into random griffin-things I can no longer remember the name of...

I really hate how so many of the old species were removed/replaced too. There was an awesome little flying eyeball and a punk cat thing wearing sunglasses but they were both long gone by the time I started playing, poo.

I know the eyeball thanks to one fansite I used to visit a lot. It did look pretty funny. And the Bruces weren't penguins to begin with, they were just... static photographs of Lenny Bruce.
