Description
Some SKETCHES of a new baby design i adopted from KemikelLekim is an outgoing and enigmatic little goo. It hides in its shell-body, which looks like a scary monster, to hide its vulnerable, gooey 'real' body.
The monster shell is incredibly durable, so an attack would probably be near-useless on these, unless you opened it up.
Lekim likes to stay out of its shell, since it never really wants to hurt anybody.
(also sorry about the crap quality my computer is broken atm and the school stuff sucks)

they can look like a lot of different things... but i should draw a few basic hearthounds. i feel like i won't draw them as well as i would like, though

i've basically likened hearthounds to the goombas of our world, since they pop up a lot as the 'generic bad guy to kill' in stories

yeah, pretty much. i feel like they look like really mutated dog-things, and... well, it's hard to explain, i guess. they don't have fur, and sort of look like you can see their muscle. i don't know if they actually have skin or not

no, they don't. but they are fairly common, as monsters go. at least, the wild ones.

sort of both? the heart doesn't have magical properties in and of itself, but it is sort of like something sacrificed to a demon. it has a magic-like effect on a hearthound; the hearthounds in the vicinity will follow whoever has the gold-coated-baby-heart as if they were a sort of pack leader. it has special effects for just them.

you'd have to be a real asshole to be able to control hearthounds then, since it requires a baby's heart.
Unless aborted fetuses count, though that still would be kinda assholish since you'd probably be stealing it anyway

i think it should have to be an actual baby's heart; one that has been alive for a certain amount of time
but not too long, or else it wouldn't be a baby anymore
there are probably women who give birth to babies and harvest their hearts, selling them at a high premium

its so disgusting to think about, but a detective mission revolving around a baby murdering crime ring would be super cool.

it would make him more sympathetic... he could have been being manipulated by someone, too. so the player wouldn't totally hate him, and think that him being out of prison is awful

I feel like that would be pretty cool, it's better than him just being simply an evil jackass. If the allure of a demon dog army isn't enough to make him kill them, it would surely show he has to have a heart.
He probably didn't actually raise them himself though, he probably got his tenants to take care of them. Colerto and Sherman.
And yeah, it would help not have the player totally hate him.

i just used minions because it was the simplest word to say what i meant, but yeah they wouldnt need to be called that.
