It's an amazing composition. The soft milky cream color with the golden accents that resemble beaks. Then the fanned-edged sections that look like overlapping wings really keeps the theme. It has a very uniform look with smooth motion lines that draws the eyes to follow throughout the entire image. You did such a superb job with subtly with this.

Ha! I was just going to comment on how it looked almost like birds and then I saw the title and the comment seemed rather superfluous. So I guess my comment is about a comment that was never made.

Wow, fantastic use of a very small palette of neutral tones. This is beautiful and makes me think of a carving in ivory or white marble. 
You got the shapes of the birds' heads so dead-on that there's no guesswork as to what the fractal is depicting. Very nice!
