Linen embroidery on a feldR type woolen cloak for reenactment, after Vendel Age bird depictions (there are brooches and shield adornments of that style). Although often referred to as 'ravens' the curved beaks clearly show them to be a kind of raptor, eagle or hawk maybe. As often Woden/Odhinn was associated not only with ravens but with eagles also, these may still show a connection to the One-eyed God.
