wtf title...?? Haha but I couldn't just call it "rain," that'd be stupid.

Sooo a few months ago we had this magnificent thunderstorm. It lasted about 5 minutes and was one of the heaviest downpours I have ever seen. The beautiful thing about it was that the sun kept shining through the entire time. Unfortunately, I didn't disobey my mother's severe order to stay inside, and by the time I convinced her that I wouldn't get struck by lightning, the storm had passed. I had to settle for splashing around barefoot in some puddles that were already quickly evaporating from the hot pavement. Umm... yeah, not good enough!!! That's when I started this painting. Haha I dunno, maybe I thought it would make me feel better if I drew myself in the rain. In any case, if it ever rains like that again, DAMMIT I'M GOING OUTSIDE!!!

Er... I don't really know how to draw rain and water and wet stuff, so this was total experimentation. Ehhh... I dunno, you can be the judge of how successful I was. XD Let's just say I'm not ridiculously pleased with this picture.

Oh, and that's not actually what I look like. Well... yeah I guess it's supposed to be me, but I wasn't trying very hard to make it look like me. Otherwise I would have looked in a mirror or something. Haha but I did get a haircut between when I started this and when I finished, and I so changed the painting to match my new hair.
