No killing done here Dennis, just very fortunate. I really want to head over to Utah for the arches and other locations.

Do you have a high contrast version of this? I would love to see it if you do.

I could make one HC but I tried it and in doing so I felt the process takes away from the natural beauty.

at first I thought this was at Canyon De Chelly, I haven't been to Mesa Verde, but someday I will go visit it.

Also love the the lighting on this. You picked the right time of day to get there for a more mysterious feel to the ruins. Really awesome work there.

Rebecca you definately have to go. The park rangers do the tours and the information they provide is eye opening.

I knew exactly what this picture was of the moment I saw it scrolling through the newer deviations. I was lucky enough to see this place on a family vacation when I was still in high school.

It's a pretty nice photograph. I like how the eye is drawn in by the dark space in the top left. I think this place might be more interesting to photograph at a different time of the day with darker shadows though. Except for that one dark spot I mentioned earlier, the rest kind of just blurs together for me.

This was my first chance to go. You have to pay for the tour and early morning was the only time available for the day. Because it is facing West, a sunset shot would be great.

Nice shot, I haven't been there, but I have been to the Gila cliff dwellings. I've driven by a few times, but never stopped. My loss. One place I'd like to photograph is Chaco canyon. Again, nice shot.

Chaco Canyon would be a great opportunity. I need to get back to NM soon. Are you doing the ABQ Balloon Fiesta?
