You have taken some excellant photographs and made some great pieces, I've really been enjoying your whole gallery! But for some reason this is my favorite of favorites. I understand that melancholy feeling you see here. Maybe its the sad tilt of the mailbox. But most likely its the beacon on the front door- almost like saying "Incase you've forgoten, I'm right here!!"

it was abandoned..there was a "no trespassing" sign just out of view of this image
