that will be awesome on metallic paper. I've fallen in love with the medium... There are some images that knock me own in that metallic.

I've not done any of those yet, but my son did and he's in love. He said even the people come out looking good.

i'm so bummed about polaroid tonight. i think i'm going to do some giant prints to put something together. i have in mind a series that starts with painted light and progresses to past the point of rescue, as the images become degraded by expired film...

Wow, that sounds like a show in the making! What an awesome idea. Some gallery or museum needs to pick that up...or do it yourself.

I think you have enough of your own stuff to do a show. I love your vision and I can tell when a photo is yours almost all the time. That's is a wonderful gift to remain consistent in one's own viewpoint.

thanks. =intao says that about my poetry too... that he could find one of my poems in the street and know it belonged to me. i guess this has something to do with aging, don't you? on da, i promote others' work, but in real life i'm selfish enough that i'm only going to expend the effort for myself.

Maybe 'aging' is part of what helps. I think it is often inherent in an individual . . . a singularity of viewpoint and an unwillingness to compromise. But as you say, aging definitely helps. I care less and less about expending vast amounts of time pleasing another in my art.

another thing that is wasted is a quick mind. you can think fast and with agility, but you don't know anything or have any context for anything!

sigh... yes. thankfully, I've lived long enough to correct the mis-judgements of a quick mind and to hear my children recant some of their words.

hmm midtones fully tasted in this glimpse the small blues without almost no saturation against the more alive yellows, your works ressemble oil paintings in that way the struggle to fully taste colour threw refractions
