An old photo from the the first Cylon War. the "Baron" was a top viper ace who became obsessed with a warrior from earth legend.Anyways my viper is really coming along but after some test photo i realized my camera just doesn't want to photograph the main color of the viper well. after a few hours of tests and reading up on the problem it seems ill have to "shop" the colors right. i am a noob at photo manipulation so i found a neat free program called PhotoScape (i am too cheap to run out and buy real photoshop and too lazy to learn gimp) this program seems to work great and will do just what i need it to. anyways i found this setting while messing around and thought it was neat.

Nice! You know some of these free programs can in some instances out perform even the top Photoshop Programs.

yea and i am kinda of a dummy when it comes to them too. i figured once i get the free program down ill move on to Photoshop. its only been in the last few months i have started to get ok photos of my models.

Interesting...a Colonial Viper with German markings-I still have two models I made as a teenager of a Viper and the Galactica. Cool. Know what you mean about GIMP....wish it was more "user friendly"

thanks dude! yup a viper in a certain ww1 color scheme, cause i just gotta be different XD anyways i should have the finished viper posted tonight, so be on the look out.
yea i have tried to use gimp a few times but really fail at it, and i am too cheap to run out and buy shop, especially if there is a chance i will suck at it too. this program i found is easy tho, i figured out how to use it in just a few hours.

That is way cool , It would have been wild if there was more kill painted on the side , maybe some space invaders mixed with other crafts of some ... Luftwaffe / Airforce emblem is kind of small for my taste ,nevertheless it is one fine eclectic piece .

When I saw the WIP photo, I noticed the pilot uniform was wrong and I just KNEW you were about to do something weird.

yea i just gotta be me, and i see alot of the standard colored vipers, so it's always fun trying to think up ideas to make things different. LOVE your modeling work, always great to see people think outside that "box".
anyways hopefully the viper will be done and posted tomorrow and will look good.
