Thanks, Carl. I like the graceful arc of the tree and slope of the land. I had to climb a hill for that shot and this chubby old body did me proud!

And puppy and hubby sat in the truck calling out, "Don't fall!" Usually my shots are quick drive-bys as hubby rarely stops. Think what I could do with a better camera and time to set up shots!

haha I know exactly what you mean.
I don't drive so I can take pictures on our little trips, then I don't get to stop when I want. I don't think its a fair trade.
We lived 3 hours from the mountains for 2 years and we had never seen them before that so we would go on a weekend with our 2 tittle ones. We could never stop to take pictures cause it was all we could do to get where we were going and back for work on Monday. It was very hard on us but we couldn't help ourselves
