# About me

When I was a young woman in collage, I studied art with the intention of someday being a professional artist and teacher. But life and a family intervened and I put away my brushes and paints. That was over 40 years ago and now as a retiree, I decided to try my hand at painting again. So in 2013 I bought supplies, watched a ton of tutorials and have been painting ever since. I can see myself improving and I'm enjoying learning all over again. My medium is acrylic paint and my favorite subject so far is landscapes but as in everything, my art is evolving and I'm learning new things every day.
