I know I've already posted a comment on this picture, but felt I had to post another one: this really is a great shot, a terrific self-portrait; it works so well because of the minimal background and the casual atmosphere to it - it doesn't look too heavily planned, something which I find can often sabotage a photo. Some of the very best shots are spontaneous, they have the most energy, the most depth of emotion - you might say they are 'real'. Once again, congratulations on a year on dA - can't wait to see more of your work in the future

It was the most spontaneous picture I have ever taken actually :L I was going out to a gig and it was the first time I had straightened my hair and I was just packing my camera, decided to just take 1 picture and it came out like this. I am so grateful for all of your comments, no one has ever had the time to comment on my photos like you have, with such great depth too. I like
