I'm sifting, sorting and unearthing all of my old self portraits from way-back-when to a young naive 13 year old. The reason for this? Because I am making a photo book about my journey overcoming bulimia with the power of photography. Photography was my saviour and if it wasn't for me picking up that camera, I would have been a very different person. To that scared 13 year old who found strength from capturing innocent self portraits, I wouldn't be to where I am now, which is in my second year of studying photography at Cambridge School of Art. So thank you, 13 year old self. You made me proud of what you had achieved and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
