Sure it has been a long time since I last drew something....This is my entry for an art contest in NoviceWriters.net. I set up the most of the rules and contest as the Mod, but I am also encouraged to enter the contest lol. Of course, I do not have the right to judge.

Frankly speaking, I did this sketch on my exam paper, which some of my friends called me freak to still have time for drawing lol. At first it was a messy sketch due to the time limit in an examination. Later, when I had more time at home, I cleaned the messy lines and drew firm ones.

This is my first time to draw a 'messy' background....with stuffs like tins, wires, etc. It might looks childish, sorry. I really don't have the idea how to draw something like that. The same goes for his shoes...In the past, I never paid as much attentions to shoes as to hair and eyes, but for this one, I made an exception. Thanks to Konomi-sensei and his excellent details to shoes.

As you can see, I did not really pay much attention to the shading in this one. I did shade slightly, but not as much as the other sketches I have done. As for the body proportion, this is the first time I drew someone in that pose...so I apologize for the mistakes with measures. Personally, I am satisfied with it, although it has flaws.
