Yeah, I've been busy too, Got into college and starting up another chapter of my life. It's so strange how different everything is once you reach "adulthood". I Wish you the best of luck. There are better traditional artists out there, though I think nowadays, digital arts are more eye-catchy in a sense.

For the hair part, I can only recommend you to try Watase-sensei's style (famous works: Fushigi Yuugi, Alice 19th, Ayashi no Ceres), and Matsushita-sensei's style (famous work: Yami no Matsuei). I started out observing their characters' hair styles (I really love their styles) and try to mimic those. They are my motivations.

You read those too? Hehe. Too bad Yami no Matsuei is on hiatus and Fushigi Yuugi part 2 is kinda slow.. I must admit, the part 1 art style is more beautiful than the part 2. And if you want to look for ideas on clothes, go for CLAMP's style. They have nice designs

It's always boring when they're on hiatus, because then you never know when the next thing'll come out, and then you're bored. I would have to agree that part one was better than part two, and CLAMP does have good clothes.
