very beautiful. I first read the book about a month before the film came out and I too wasn't seeing Legolas as a blonde.

Thanks I read the book when I was seven, and he was the only elf in my mind that wasn't short, blonde with curly medium length hair in stupid green outfit. XD

Later, when I read about Mirkwood elves, it kinda made sense that I didn't picture him blonde.
