This is done, i drew Yuki!!! Yuki is a bit more than 1 year old now, and the pic i used as a reference was taken a few months ago (he was about 11 months old). To say a few words about him, he is energic, tender, capricious, playful, annoying, adorable, touchy, affectionate, smart, sweet...
Here he was playing with this band we can see between his front legs and which we normally use to tie our hair up, he always steals them and creates many games with them!

Anyway, i cannot remember how many hours i spent on this drawing... Maybe 8 hours! It was very fun to draw his coat, had to be very precise as well... I had originally planned to finish the background but since i didn't want the whole to be too contrasted (because i had to render the softness of his coat), i was wondering how to enhance him from the background. I asked advice to my sister ( ) who suggested that i wouldn't finish this background and blur the cushion.

I used Derwent graphic pencils, from 4B to 4H for the cat, from 2B to 4H for the rest. As for the cushion, i used pencils from HB to 4H, and used some kind of blotting paper to blur and soften. Photo reference.
