Description
This is a portrait of one of my favourite actresses: Taiwanese actress Lin Qing Xia. The picture is from Wong Kar Wai's masterpiece "Ashes of Time", and i drew from a photo from the movie's artbook (photograph taken by Christopher Doyle).She plays two characters in the movie, Yin and Yang who are supposed to be sister and brother (but maybe they are just one same person...), and this is Yang so she is dressed like a warrior.
I drew this portrait in 1998 and used pencils and Charcoal pencils (from 9B to 2H).

the shading is really nice. however, the eyebrows seem too straight. over all it's beautiful rendering.

An adorable vision: generally very realistic. Shading on face is perfect, I really like it.

I can't believe that no one has really commented on this. The shading and everything is supreme. From a bit far from my monitor I could not tell if this was a photograph or a drawing, given if the white space was gone. I love this. you did fantastic.

this is very well done and the face is photorealistic, the drawing is also very clean considering how messy charcoal can get.
