EDIT 09-24-05 : Following friends' advice, I blurred a little bit her blade and changed a bit her left hand... It's still not perfect and I might do some other changes but it's still better than it was, I think

This is Aya Ueto as Azumi, from the movie "Azumi" by Ryuhei Kitamura (adapted from a manga by Yû Koyama). I didn't read the manga but I saw the movie and I liked the character, the story and the action scenes.
I finally finished this portrait I started more than three months ago. It's because I had to interrupt it so many times, but also because it was so long to do! I really needed patience for this one, and I am still not entirely satisfied...
Anyway, it's my first digital portraits! There is no drawing made on paper, it's all Painter and Photoshop.
Hope you enjoy it, I'm looking forward to reading comments
