I think this works really well even if you didn't add in the last part as, from what I can see from this, it kind of resembles how he didn't complete the final trial. It's locked away and will never be finished.
This is a very beautiful piece by the way~

Amazing why don't you try re-doing it after revealing the third trial? i'd love to see how would you illustrate it

Thank you! And actually this is a good idea, I don't know, why I didn't do it. Maybe because it's done with pencil on paper and I thought of it as a closed case. But it's still doable. Thank you do much for suggesting it!<3
