Okay so this is sorta fanart that I made for my "Thank You 1000" pic. Seen "Kung-Fu Hustle???" If you have, I really hope you have already recognized this scene!!! LoL

If you are not familiar with the move, 1) see it- its so freaking awesome and 2) I'll explain what happened:

Sing (the boy) is young, innocent, idealistic, impressionable and fascinated with Kung-Fu. He unknowingly gets ripped off buying his Kung-Fu manual. But ignorance is bliss right? He believes he is becoming the world's greatest and he wants to use these new "powers" for good. Well he is walking outside when he sees a yound girl getting hassled by a group of boys a few years older than him. They are trying to steal her lollipop. She is terrified and crying, because they have her pinned down, holding her by the hair as they are ripping it from her hands. She is mute.
Sing sees what is going on and in the true spirit of a hero, he saves the young girl...sort of. He tells the bullies to back off. When they start to rough him up, he attempts to defend himself with Kung-Fu. Unfortunatly, his couple weeks of learning was not enough to protect him. All the boys ganged up on him and beat him. They ended the fight by urinating on him and throwing the lollipop back at the mute girl. As the boys ran away, Sing felt like a loser. But even more than that, he felt that all his training had been in vain. Although the girl saw him as the truest, bravest, hero in her whole world. She tries to give him the only thing she could think of that holds any value...her lollipop T-T
Okay for the rest of the story...watch the movie.

When this part came up in the movie, I knew I wanted to draw it. It holds such a heaviness, and melancholy emotion. Not really a perky "WHee!! 1000 Views!! Lalala" picture, but you will all forgive me, right?
