Hiyas!This is my new character, it was inspired by my girlfriend Cassie
her name's Atumy, she's the angel of Autum, I hope you like it. (:<If you want to see a close up of the full-sized image, go here: [link]
It took me two days to finish it, the lineart was done in Macromedia Flash 8.0 and it was colored and retouched in Adobe's Photoshop CS 2 (9.0), it was a great experience working on this since I've learned a lot more from anime style and I'm also still trying to improve in anatomy but I've decided to improve slowly land this time is the upper body, any intelligent & justified critics are welcome.

I love it very nice!!! Very flowy. Breezy, Beautiful. It creates a soothing mood.

Oh, she's really pretty, I love her hair, and I think her eyes go well with it, too.
I suppose my only problem is the flowers on her head...they kind of look like they were just placed on the picture, not actually being worn by the girl. I think it would look a little better if they were facing sideways.
Anyway, really nice work. Fall is such a nice time of the year (aside from the return of school, of course

Anytime, Doom. I know I haven't really been saying much lately...although I do agree with you and Cassie; too much emphasis is put on popularity here. But I really do enjoy the artwork of you both, so I hope you won't let some of the...social flaws here...get you down.

Truly amazing! I like the colors of the eyes and the elegant pose! As for the "Advanced Critique Encouraged" thing:
- The grass is TOO green. I mean, YIKES, that's scary! Thy mixing other colors to it like yellow or brown to give it a grass-like feeling!
- The reflection of the wings appeared on her left arm but what about her hair and the rest of the parts that is connected to the light? Try to imagine where the lights will hit (or put random objects together put it near a light source and study the reflection 
- OPTIONAL (cause I'm not sure): Since this is an autumn scene, try making the trees in the background warm colors (red, orange, yellow).

Doom, I can never get over how well you do all this digitally. I doodled in Flash just to see how it is to draw on a computer before, and I got what I expected, nothing to special
