Yay for more original art
This is some random angel I drew for the christmas card I want to send to all my relatives. Well I know they don´t really care for my art and some of them don´t even know I draw anime style pictures but I had a lot of fun making this. Most of my friends know that I prefer to draw male characters. Even if I draw girls, there usually is at least one boy in the pic so this here is a rarity
However, hope you like my little angel...

your family should appreciate you even made an effort to do a homemade card. I'm FORCED to do homemade cards so for you to choose to do it for them makes it that much more special.
next time send them all dollar store card pieces of sh** to show how much you appreciate their appreciation for you work.

It's very cute! I love it, but you know you could draw a male angel too. Angels in the Bible are portrayed as male. Don't know if they are androgenous (Sp?) or not, but I know they are portrayed as male.

Lol I know there are many male angels in the bible but I thought female angels are cuter...most angels on sweet christmas pictures are female. This card is not for me, it´s for my family. I so hope they will like it

I tend to like male angels more than female ones, but I used to collect angels, so I have all kinds. But it's harder to find a male one than a female one.
And, hey, I'm not going to tell you off if you don't care for the Bible. I believe in it, but I'm not into hating people for having different beliefs. And I wasn't trying to push anything on you with my comment. *hugs*

Aaaw it´s alright. It´s not that I belive in another religion. Actually I don´t belive in any religion because I´m an atheist. That´s how it is but I absolutely respect every religion (which isn´t a sect that exploits people) around the world. I sometimes think that to belive in someting can make life much easier and it can help you when you have to go through hard times...Most religions help people to keep humanity, they help to be fair and nice to each other. Something like that can never be a bad thing even though I don´t understand it. I grew up without religion but perhaps the love to my family and friends and the simple rules of being human and trying to be nice, to keep peace and to help whenever help is needed is also some kind of faith? I even celebrate Xmas because to me it´s a great family festival and a festival of love. It´s a nice custom so why skip it?

It does help to have a faith to cling to when things get tough. *hugs* I know I would be in trouble without it. Ohhh, Christmas. I do have trouble getting into Christmas nowdays, though. My grandmother died on Christmas Day and I tend to get kind of depressed at Christmas time, but that doesn't have anything to do with the holiday. *hugs*

My relatives (except my hubby, my brother and my father who all really like what I draw) don´t care for my art. Some of them even say it´s all trash and the style is horrible. They all have no clue about manga and anime, they say it´s brainless shit and stuff... *sigh*
Some don´t even realize that I draw and some say I should better grow up because I´m already 27 years old and all those "comics" are for stupid children...
But I don´t give up on it. They all will get this card for christmas and if they don´t like it it´s their problem. There is still the chance that some of them like it, that would make me very happy^^

;_; that's sad, my parents say stuff like that, aren't you gonna grow out of that? it makes me angry because a lot of animes are only suitable for over 18's it's just because they don't understand. I try explaining but they still don't seem to understand -.-
I don't want to ever lose my anime love because anime is so much fun it's been my main hobby since I was about 17/18 ^^I hope people appreciate your acrd
