I'M CAUGHT UP AND THIS BLEW MY MIND. If you're here and like 'who's that what's going on' then you probably don't want to hop into the comments or go anywhere near tumblr.
But anyway this show is amazing and I'm so pleased with it right now. Everyone else was drawing this screenshot so I wanted to take my own spin on it, super similar to the original but less blue and with more fire flecks~
Let me know your thoughts on this episode (or anything really, I like bipper too) I need people to fangirl with.

This episode got me exploding on the inside! I NEVER thought we'd find out who the author is AND have the twin theory confirmed in ONE EP!!!! Oh, man I'm pretty sure this bro isn't going to be too friendly (at least at first). Dipper might follow in his footsteps with the "trust no one" paranoia! Let's hope they get over their issues and survive by the end of the season (and the show).

This all will be a test for his relationship with Mabel. Also, the original mystery twins must mend their relationship. I have a feeling that they won't defeat the great evil that is coming unless they work on their issues and trust each other completely. Bringing back the mistrusting brother (judging from his journal entries) has to be more important than for us to find out who the author is. Too bad we have to wait till summer for the next ep 0__0 I'm dying to see how their meeting will look like, and even what his voice sounds like!

I thought this episode was so amazing and mind blowing!
I was shocked to find out the theories about Stan having a brother were true though.
And my heart also broke when Mabel started crying, because I don't think she's ever cried on the show before. So sad.
But in all honesty, I like the fact that this has more color to it than just blue. Not to say the others are bad, but this is really pleasing to my eyes.

Also, on the subject of theories in Gravity Falls, there's a theory I've been hearing about since the last episode aired, stating that Bill is still possessing Dipper, but in a subconcious way, or something. Have you heard about that theory?

and secondly I have heard it but I don't really believe it....I mean the contract within a contract is kinda fishy but dipper is pretty untrustworthy of pacifica anyway so I don't really see any red flags there. The whole 'this is the last form you'll ever take!' thing is a little more convincing, but I think we were just supposed to be scared there.
Idk he doesn't act like Bills in him at all, and when the machine was going to explode I think Bill would have used some of his actual powers to stop it or protect dipper, that's his puppet after all I can't imagine him wanting everything blown up. Unless he knew what the machine would actually do of course...idk haha
Gravity Falls has thrown so much at us, and every little detail is important. So hey maybe Bill is influencing dipper now, but if he is I don't think it's a full on possession at least

Oh yeah, that was a pretty good scare. I mean, he did take the exact same pose as the shapeshifter.
I'm thinking it is a subconcious possession, not a full one. But I thought a lot of things before this last episode, and for the most part, I was wrong.
Soooo...I might be wrong again. I guess we'll just have to see, huh.
You're right in the sense that Gravity Falls has thrown a lot at us, so I'm honestly really excited (and worried) for what's next to come.

I keep telling my friends it's a darker side of Disney and they still won't watch it, it's driving me nuts. Have you watched the royal order of the holy mackerel on youtube? I tend to watch him and a random person for theories and the order decodes all the codes and little hidden things in the episodes and it's just oh my god I can't believe the fandom guessed at Stan's secret twin! The whole Mable having a secret twin is just weird but it had to make sense that Stan had a brother!
