I posted this on Tumblr and it got a thousand freaking reblogs. So I can't help but assume it's a good piece of art. Thanks, everyone.

Pasting the description from my original tumblr post:

I was watching this and thinking to myself “If Homestuck were a cartoon/anime, this would totally be its opening theme song. Probably for the second season.”

And as I pictured the opening animation in my mind, the trolls’ part was basically that up there and I had to draw it for obvious reasons. Like, you know, that part in every opening animation when a tallways-long “still” image of a character pans up dramatically as the chorus blares on?

As the image scrolls up, the faces of each troll fades in and out around him, in low opacity. And when they start dying, Karkat’s face is lined with tears in the next opening. It’s super-dramatic.
