no offense but, you're using your talent for the wrong drawings. Well in my opinion.

Astonished!

This is exactly how the armor of the Eldar should look in the 1st age. Ancient yet advanced, beautiful.

Poor Aegnor, even his horse's eyes express grief. Fallen heroes of old.

When I saw this art I just thought "Fingolfin and Rochallor!" Aegnor is a low profile character. Nice work! Really beautiful!

Thank you very much for appreciating my work!
But you are very unjust for Aegnor saying that he is a low profile character. Tolkien said of him and Angrod very brief, but thay conducted a siege of Angband standing nearest for Morgot's den, and stood in the breach during the Buttle of Sudden Flame. Also the first love story between Eldar and Edain was with participation of Aegnor)
and Fingolfin had a dark hair)

He looks beautiful and strong, and I love the feel of the wind, the colours and dark shadows  . It makes me feel the Dagor Bragollach and his doom is coming.

The colors in this are absolutely stunning. And the expressions you gave both of them are so great. He looks resolved to go on, but the horse looks back at the viewer with curiosity.

Do you make tutorials? What kind of medium do you use? I would LOVE to make illustrations like this.

I have one "work in progress" in my gallery, and I can't to have a dig at processing of another one:/    also I'm usually passionate so much for remember to make a shot on every step).

Aegnor as the hero.

No matter how wise of foolish his choices were, he did stand up and fight for what he loved.....

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

EKukanova In reply to Observer14 [2015-08-21 17:04:59 +0000 UTC]

He was guided by his sense of duty and puted it before own interests, at any rate it is worthy of respect.

I found very interesting fanfic, there depicted his conversation with Finrod, and Finrod says that he could not term his choice right or wrong,  it was very interesting conversation because Finrod was in analogous situation).

Observer14 In reply to EKukanova [2015-08-23 02:00:26 +0000 UTC]

yeah, there were lots of "ambiguous situations" in Tolkien's work.  I think he realized that choices in real life are rarely black and white, so he made his characters struggle with those same kinds of situations.
