YES!!! Another talented photograph took a pic of my Second League of Legends Cosplay, Guqin Sona, at Connichi 2012 in Kassel
Again, it's a close up, but nevertheless i love the photo
Thanks to Jens Moeller, who really took time for me in order to make this shot

I just removed the strings and the construction, also i tried to improve some mistakes at my costume

If I dont bother you too much, can I please ask you something - what kind of ribbing did you use for her golden "sleeves" (I guess those are sleeves, the thin part that goes above your shoulders

I am not so very sure which part of the cosplay you mean, so I'll try to explain and hope I gor the things right
The pieces of fabric which "flow" over my shoulders are made out of a fabric sandwich, which means: cream coloured cloths on bottom and top and a layer to stiffen it and which is flat ironed (and therefore glued) to the upper part of the cloth in the middle. everything is sewn together, with a gold coloured fabric to hide the edges and to create a kind of tube, where I pushed some wire into it. Then a golden braid is added to make it look more valuable. I refer to these things as "sashes" as they continue to the bottom. I hope this was the first question
About my crimson sleeves - the coat is just sewn that way it stays up there, I dunno <.< not sure if we taped double sided tape to my back to make it stay up there, I cannot remember anything like that. I did not wear it for more than a year now <.< But that would be a solution. Anyway, when you throw your arms in the air like me in the pic, it cannot fall down even if it wants to
also, there is a stiffining fabric also sandwiched between two orange fabrics, to keep it from wrinkling. As for the crimson part, there is just lining inside.

I'm not that good at naming parts of the wardrobe (especially the ones that are not commonly used), but I did mean the sashes! They look unreal! Defying gravity, just as the game model does
I'm trying to do something similar right now, but on a smaller scale, so I was just thinking to put cable ties in the material, as a cheap ass ribbing XD
Anyyyyway, to sum up: masterpiece, wow, much skill!

I'm currently working on a cosplay of this skin of sona and I was wondering how you made the headpiece I was thinking of making it out of paperclay and gold jewelry wire. Thank you for any advice you can give me.Β

i made the golden part out of wonderflex, but worbla would of course work, too.
the red part is a foam piece i formed, coated it with putty and colored it with car paint.
the white part are half globes painted ivory.
and the gem is casted of resin

btw, i would not recommend wire as it is too thin and will not have your desired effect. paperclay might work for the red part if you don't insist on the shiny surface

sona's guqin is hold by strings around my neck, but they are not visible here. like I wrote in my post, this picture is photoshopped and the strings were removed because is just looks better like this.
nevertheless, you can see the construction in other photos of my sona cos.
