CRITTER PROFILE:The The Thorn-faced Slickster is a mythical specie discovered at the heart of the Amazon.
This feisty little sprite is as slithery as a lizard and as shifty as a jackrabbit, making it extremely difficult to catch.
At the tip of its tongue is a retractable stinger, which injects a toxin that could kill a full grown man in 30 seconds.
Yep, it could literally lick you to death. He-he-he.

The Skribbles were a little bit hard to see, so I put some outer glow, so the judges won't have a hard time (if ever...hehehe)

I think it would do the picture good if the background had more features and detail, but the main illustration looks very good.
The white lines bothered me though, but as I understood from your note that's not really part of the illustration. Why do you need to emphasize the lines for the judges though? I might be missing a principle of Skribble due to ignorance.

the rules aid that the scribble must be clearly visible...and i thought that the scribbles in my art lost visibility due to some intricate details..so, i made them glow..^_^..but, i wasn't able to promote this art very well..^_^

Nice question..heheh..well, the sting on his tongue is retractable, like a cat's paw...so if he's not using it, the sting retracts into his tongue, so it won't hurt him...hehehe..^_^

But then wouldn't it sting the inside of his tongue, especially if he moves his tongue or if he's trying to expose the stinger? Or is perhaps the tongue tip, where the stinger is stored while retracted, made out of some sort of touch collagen or keratin that prevents the sting?

yeah, yeah...i guess there's some sort of protective covering inside his tongue, so the sting won't be any bother...hehehe...and the sting is small enough, so that even if he moves his tongue or mouth the sting won't get in the way...lol...^_^
I never really thought about these things before, but now, i guess they're very important for the slickster to survive properly!!!...hehehe
