I joined Daily Spitpaint in an attempt to get back to the habit of painting quick pieces every now and then.

Today’s topic (among others): The red tree

I had a somewhat creepier and more complex composition in mind, but there’s no way I could pull it off within only 30 minutes!

The advantages of digital! Brushes as big as you like them, no drying times, colour adjustment layers. It speeds up everything considerably.

If you head over to Daily Spitpaint on FB you'll see far more impressive works. It's amazing what people can make in such a short time.
