This is Saurus who will be eventually appearing as a villain in the Zodiac comic. His power is the ability to grow to super size and he has incredible strength and toughness at any size. I was asked by Ashki to draw a pic of Aries having beat up some random villain and I made Saurus as the guy on the receiving end.

Since then I have done several pics of Saurus and a kind of story and character has continued to evolve. He started out as a villain who always got what he wanted through strength but Aries taught him that there is more to it all than just being a thug no matter how strong you are.

In this pic, Saurus is remembering he glory days when he belonged to the Alpha City professional wrestling circuit with Aries (then called Gatecrasher). Many supers worked an honest gig as pro-wrestlers and it became a recruiting ground for the mob as a good place to hire muscle.

Eventually, the mob took over and Saurus dived into the lifestyle of a mob fixer while Aries got out. Eventually, Saurus' inability to listen to anyone weaker than himself got the better of him and he was kicked out of the mob. They could not threaten him as he was too powerful but they made if impossible for him to work in organized crime again. That leads us to what he is doing now and how we will meet him in the comic.
