Oh, hi! I'm fine thanks, uni keeps me very very busy so I don't have time to do most of the things I used to do. I don't really mind though, I've found other things, and my friends are awesome I had an archery tournament yesterday which was fun but extremely wet, because we were shooting in the middle of a field in the torrential rain... Worth it though, we took bronze. How about you/ What have you been up to lately?

Well other then going to school, my friends and I have started going to a western martial arts school and I'm trying to find places where I can learn to blacksmith and leatherworking. We're also thinking of doing our own web-series, but as I keep reminding them, it would be expensive. Congrats on your tournament by the way

Haha, thanks I did have a timetable for writing the whole book, but unfortunately it was based on having lots of free time at uni, which of course was not the case. That and I keep having to rewrite/rework the first couple of chapters as I find problems with the characters and plot. I might be pulling them from dA soon though, worried about plagearism and all that...

Anyway, how are you? Been up to much?

Completely understand that :/ I figured I'd had a lot more free time too - but nine hours of lab work a week jus kinda saps the creative spirit right out of you XD I already pulled my novel ideas from DA, I'm so paranoid about people stealing them so again, completely understand

I haven't been up to much besides packing, saying goodbye to people and all that. As you know I had a falling out with the vast majority of my friendgroup so that makes for being a house hermit all summer XD it's not so bad though, last night I went on a writing binge and managed to get a decent first chapter written for one of my stories...that being said I'll still probably rewrite that a dozen times. I'm really terrible when it comes to beginnings, I never know how to get things started.

Haha, only nine hours a week? Pity the scientists at Oxford - they can have up to 20 hours a week on occasion. Plus lectures. Plus pre- and post-lab writeups. Plus tutorials with associated problem sheets (that you're supposed to have spent 12 hours on, minumum)... 2 to 3 of those a week. Sometimes I can understand why they hate me for only having 6 hours contact time

Oh, that's awesome I have the opposite problem - I started something recently called "The Strange Days of Annabelle Chant" which was something magic-y set in Edwardian era Oxford, but I've got two pages into it and I'm stuck. I have all sorts of these 'pilot episodes' written that I'll probably never finish. Omen is about the only one where I've gotton further than that.

oh don't worry that's coming - I'm doing an Honours degree so I have to do a massive dissertation in my fourth year meaning I spend every amount of free time working on my own scientific project under watch of a supervisor (which I have to find myself) then at the end of the year a board of scientists basically rips it to pieces, makes me defend myself and gives me a pass or a fail.

Sometimes I regret not just going for an English degree XD

Oh now that sounds really neat! I've only got two major projects on the go but I'm never satisfied with the beginning so I have to keep going back and changing things which means more rewrites further down. I've always struggled with the beginnings of my stories, it's definately my Achilles' heel

Hey there! Sorry for the slow reply - I just got back to a new term at uni and it's all hands to the pump already, bit frantic :/ Oxford has this simply lovely tradition of testing you when you get back from holiday, so I've spent half my vacation revising and 6 hours yesterday doing a really gruelling exam It's warranted though - the real things are at the end of this term, in two months, so getting some practice in is good to say the least!!! Unfortunately uni doesn't really give me enough time to sit down and do any drawing, writing or RPing, so I'm kinda adrift there I have picked up archery in my spare time though, and everyone here is so lovely, so it's not all work and no play by any means How about you? What have you been up to?

Yeah, it's quite the buzz, I still can't believe it myself It's quite intimidating at times - everyone is very, very smart - but everyone's also a little bit crazy and eccentric so I feel right at home
