... because this is totally gay.Now I'll admit, it's cute n' all, but I'm pretty sure the creators of this show felt a sharp pain in their sides because of this. At any rate, this is the only time I would draw any of these characters in anime style... because it's just too gay like that.
Lesse... Dr. Girlfriend and The Monarch are not mine and belong to Astro Base GO and to Doc Hammers and Jackson Publik. I think. Not sure how cartoons are copyrighted.
Tools used: sketch on paper I did, then Open Canvas, and using an intuos2 wacom tablet.

OK, this may sound like a dumb question but would she (Dr.Girlfriend) still have that mannish type voice even in that stage? That would probably get rid of the gayness value.

Nawwwww.... she'd still have it. In all honesty, if Dr. Girlfriend's voice was changed to be more feminine, I really don't know how I'd cope with it. The voice totally grows on you once you watch the show enough ^_^;;

I am still new to VB so there's still a lot I need to learn about the characters. However, I *did* watch "Ghosts of the Sargasso" today and I completely agree with your opinion on Phantom Limb. He is such an f'ing jerk! BTW, I have a question for you: I was wondering if it would be alright if I were to put your chibi drawing of Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend on a t-shirt? (Yes, I love it THAT MUCH!) And don't worry, I'm not planning on duplicating them and selling them for big bucks on e-Bay or anything like that. I just want one for myself. It's seriously one of the cutest things I've ever seen and I think it would look great on a t-shirt. But if you say know then that's perfectly fine and I won't do it. I was just wondering and thought I'd ask.

So. Freakin. ADORABLE! I've only just started watching "The Venture Brothers" but I am enjoying it very much and after looking at some fan art I've decided that I really like these two. And it doesn't matter what the creators think as long as you're happy with it. Besides, everyone else seems to like it too. Great job!
