Drawn for the Game Art HQ Street Fighter 25th Anniversary tribute project. Check out the other submissions at this [link]I wanted to pick a bit of an obscure character, and I have really vivid memories of being massively excited as a child to discover a Street Fighter EX + Alpha arcade machine on a ferry whilst travelling to France. My brother and I played that game for the whole journey, then got it on Playstation, and I remember Blair, Garuda and Skullomania being awesome characters I'd never seen or played before despite already being a huge Street Fighter fan!
This piece was drawn and inked by hand, then scanned and coloured in Photoshop. The background was entirely painted in Photoshop.

That movie was awful, but in the fun sort of way. Also, it gave us "For me, it was Tuesday".
Legend of Chun-Li was just confused and soul-drainingly overproduced bad...

well,i didnt hesitate to share the news about the project with some artists i had contact with trough the group and respect and know their works
all in all i am so far not 100% satisfied with the enties but yes, the most are really great and not a few have "udon quality" in my opinion. fact is that the visitor numbers on ga-hq raised to nearly 1600 per day now and the sf tribute galleries got around 2400 views together already. In march i will reveal a nice idea for participants like you who want to be involved a 2nd time with the project

that would be cool, so far only 3 people participated (i know of two others) and i hope at least 10 people together..the minor characters are so rarely drawn that it would be a pity if only a handful people is joining

Brilliant! My favourite piece of the SF tribute. Although I am slightly biased toward the EX series characters. She looks so cool. so tough. You really wouldn't wanna mess with her...and she's sexy. Brilliant colouring...I'm somewhat jealous.

I see you did D.Dark for the same tribute - he was another awesome character. And I really like the way your picture of him tells a story and portrays his character - he was definitely one of the most interesting/quirky designs in the game!
