Your words may hurt me, but I won't be defeated that easily. When depression hit me, I felt like I wanted to kill myself. End my life; stop the suffering. However, there are people waiting for me. I can feel something telling me that my story can't end just yet. "I need to stay alive" it says. "Finish your story with an unique ending." So, I found my purpose in life. I found out who I wanted to be; and what I wanted to do in the future. That dream has been keeping me going through the tough times in life. I can't give up. I mustn't give up! My friends, my family.... What will they think when I'm gone? Great sorrow and agony will come upon them, and I musn't let them feel that horrible pain then they already have. I will stay strong for the people who support me, and those who don't.... Well, heh, I will show them who I am. As an artist, a friend, and an individual. Everyone will know my name. No matter the wounds, lies, tears, threats, jokes, and enemies, I will surpass them. My heart may be ripped from my chest but I'll still keep loving the things I love and hold them dear. Losing my eye will not stop me from looking for ways to make a difference. People will hear my name, and know who I am. That's right. One day they will, as long as I keep beating and do what I love the most. So I've decided, I'm going to stay alive. I want people to remember me when I'm gone. I want them to know EchoArcher; the artist who never gave up. Just you wait, you'll see it someday. Just you wait. *sighs* This is just the beginning.
