I really like all the depth you achieve (in all your collages).

Here I get somewhat anxious -is the guy inserting the stick into the hole thus stabbing the little guy's face? is he just pointing him out for us? is he measuring something (looks like a ruler)? There's something uncertain in the possible story that makes the piece alive. Great job!

I almost did not put this up. I started working it to death, took the little guy out then put him back and on and on. Figured I'd leave it be and the only way to do that was to post it. So thanks for your comment. Oh and I like your X's. For a zine ? Cool !

You're welcome and I understand, I made something last week and couldn't get satisfied with it and finally took it almost completely apart, all that is left is a little bit of background! And thanks about the XX piece. I just got a copy of the little zine in the mail today, and that reminded me to post it. The "X"s refer to a story, and I never do illustration... except sometimes I do

Yes, a story in the zine. It was a surreal story in Portuguese and I had a rough translation to work from so I can't really tell you what it's about - but it definitely had two "X"s in it
