Description it's the BIG one! the contest entry with loads of sheep.

to start in a clockwise like fashion..the farthest sheep on the left is a lincoln longwool, with a llama and a fluffy alpaca, a blue leciester, a merino ran, above him with the black face is a hamshire southdown, and a roughfell last in the top row..the mom and lamb are scottish blackface (actually two of my sheep, squish and one of her lambs) next to them is a cerviot, a jacob sitting down, an angora goat nest to him, a brown southdown above them, and a dartmoor last in that row, and last and least, a furry little angora rabbit on bottom. whew. 14 breeds of wool producing buddies

about a day and a half's work.. wasn't really keeping time.

Can you use the print option here on DA? I've never ordered prints before but they have an option where you can submit things to be made into prints.

EatToast In reply to DreamEyce [2007-07-01 00:47:46 +0000 UTC]

i would if i knew how. i don't know if it'd be worth it in the long run though, it's kinda expensive, and if only a few people will buy stuff, then it seems like a poor investment...i can mail you my own prints though perhaps

DreamEyce In reply to EatToast [2007-07-04 08:17:10 +0000 UTC]

You can set up a print account here on DA, and they do all the work!

EatToast In reply to DreamEyce [2007-07-05 22:13:30 +0000 UTC]

DreamEyce In reply to EatToast [2007-07-07 06:25:59 +0000 UTC]

Ahh! I didn't know it cost anything!! heehee I assumed you just click on the button, and they do things, and pay you if you make something ;0)

This is so gorgeous. I love how the colours are so 'soft' ... I'm not so sure about the blue outlines at the top, I think it might have been nicer to colour the entire background blue ...

Just my opinion though

Love the llama's fur, the colours are so warm

Great job!

(What contest is it for?)

EatToast In reply to JenKristo [2007-04-23 00:21:58 +0000 UTC]

yes.. a very rare type of sheep...the legless rabbit disguised scottish bludgen head. the horns became floppy and soft to avoid tension in the grazing herds, so they're a very friendly species. completely deviod of limbs, they are sessile grazers for a few days, until they've eaten everything around them, then starving to death shortly after giving birth to tiny eggs that blow away in the wind. the eggs hatch into full grown adults where they land.

!?!?!?

JenKristo In reply to EatToast [2007-04-23 01:04:07 +0000 UTC]

biotch!!! what are they really???

ive heard of the mystic beast you speak of. actually, the ones in the mythology books say there's a plant the sheep are all attached to by green cords on their tummies, and when they eat all the food around the plant base then they starve and die.
