I live in Utah now with my fiance and our daughter. We have one Mastiff (of course) and two cats. I'm a professional photographer, in college, and delving into photo manipulation.

Hi there ~ I'm doing OK. Just have not been in the mood to do art work for months now and I'm one of those who has to be feeling it in order to do it. I think my muse went on vacation to the Bahamas without me and didn't send a forwarding address. Actually, that journal entry was from last year - May 2011. I really should update that sometime soon - LOL!

I've been checking things on my Dev Watch though and have seen some of your digital sculpting. You won't know if you'll do as well with actual clay until you give it a try

Oh, dear! I didn't notice the date on the journal...just that it said "May"
and thought it was for this month. Yikes! (Pardon me, another senior moment!)

I'm glad to know that you are doing OK. Are you feeling better health-wise? I hope so.
My family and I are okay as well.

I know, I'll try some clay eventually. Sculpy clay is easier to find in these parts,
but I've never tried any sort of it at all, so I'm not sure what to buy. Maybe I can
find a book for beginning sculptors.

Right now I have no plans to attend the Sheltie national. I don't own any Shelties - I only have Border Collies. If it's not too far away, I might go check it out. Where and when is it?

this year it is in St. Louis, Missouri, But it is in April, so it might be to late to send in the thingy for not exhibitors but... ohh the word is on the tip of my tongue.....

I think you are thinking of "vendor" I would probably only want to go as a spectator - not a vendor. I don't have any Sheltie pieces - the two that I've done were both commissioned pieces. Anyway, that's too far away for me - I don't even go to the Border Collie national when it's held at Purina Farms in St. Louis, MO. This year is the first time our BC national has been on the west coast so it's the first time I'll be attending.
