ahhhh ... so this is Binky! Such a doll! We don't have a cat leukemia case, but had one with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis), who died at about 8 months - apparently, that is the expected/norm for kittens born with FIP. He was abandoned by his feral mum when he was just about two/three weeks old. Would you like to see him? ^^

He passed away on May 9th. The day before mothers day here in the US. And only four days after his forth birthday.

LOL! He had the most gorgeous green eyes when he was grown, so pale, but a gorgeous color. I could never quite get a good picture of them, they never looked as beautiful as they did in real life. I'll miss those eyes.

Even at four, he was family, right? I hope you're doing all right. I know too well what it's like to lose a cat. I also know that when my Neko goes, I'll be incredibly upset. She's 16.

Yes. They are family. Our Kitty Cat passed away when she was about 21 years old. That's over half of my life time. It's very sad. Even a year old is quite a heart felt loss. Bless them all.

Yes, his name was Binky, he was the sweetest from the time he was a baby all the way until he passed. He had his ornery times, though. But what can you expect from him since I raised him myself? I miss him so much.
