Description Earlier this week was the 61st anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I wanted to wear a vintage look to memorialize the day and these shots are from the night before when I was playing around figuring out what I wanted to do.

I've done this kind of a bun before on myself and friends... for lack of a better name, I've dubbed it the RollBun. The next day I pinned a flower to the side of the bun.

How To:
Separate the front of the hair from the back. Start at your part and go down to right behind the ears on both sides.
On one side, separate out a smaller section from the very front and top (in my case, bangs with a little extra)
On that side, victory roll the back portion of the hair and pin into place.
With the smaller bang section, roll around fingers into a flat spiral and pin into place. You might also need some hair gel or spray.
victory roll the other side as well but make the roll lie more flat that the first.
Make a low pony tail with your hair in the back.
Section off ends of the ponytail with another ponytail holder.
Roll your pony tail up so that the ends are hidden inside and the bun is created.
Pinning this into place is tricky, make sure to pin through the two pony tail holders a few times to make sure it stays in place.
Also pin the top of the bun to the back of your head so the roll doesn't flop over.

(she does a pretty flat roll in the pictures, but the tips are helpful)

Looks really good! I wish I had enough hair for this sort of fun stuff. Ah well, there's always liberty spikes. XD

You could put little flags atop them... lol. And thanks!
