Description Another shot of my recent urban series (there are some more to come). I guess I'm changing my style again.

Tried to create some worn out, used look by changing colours and adding some blurred noise.

I absolutely love urbanization! Lovely shot! So did you just leave the shutter open for a long time to get the moving stairs into that big slur? I always wanted to try that sometime...

Exactly. Jutst select a ling exposure time. 3 or 4 seconds should be enough! Have fun!

ich nehme mir gerade die zeit die gallerien in meiner devwatch zu durchstΓΆbern, also auch deine
ich liebe rolltreppenphotos, dieses hier ist aufgrund der farblichkeit und der stimmung besonders genial, vor allem der effekt der nicht vorhandenen stufen wie hast du das so hinbekommen? da waren doch mit sicherheit stufen gel?

Es is ne Langzeitbelichtung (ich glaub ein oder zwei Sekunden) da gehen die Stufen un der Bewegung unter.

first of all i like the symetry created by the escalator in this pic... but i think the upper part of this photography (especially the wall on the right) reduce the impact (the symetry itself). The blurry part of the escalator is well done and looks almost flat to me
I also agree that worn out and dirty style is best for this kind of picture, perhaps add some grain for the top part of the photograph??
btw, i really like the style of this photography!!

I was shure you liked that style I'ts closer to yours than my last submissions.

I also think that the symmetry could be better... But I did not want to break down the subway station to create a different escalator Thanks for the detailed comment!

Thanks... I was also surprised how it turned out... My girlfriend thought I was mad when I started to take photographs of an escalator in the subway... ehm... not just my girlfriend... everybody who passed by... But I think it was worth it! Thanks!

I love the gold colour of the walls, that and the greenish colour of the escalator reminds me of those green/gold beetles. Lovely and smooth.
