Description Hmm, so Cian found Mercutio finally. ...Mercy doesn't seem very happy about it, though.

I listened to pretty much all of the Sigh No More album by by Mumford & Sons (thank you Grimmy) while I colored this one.

--> A Revolving Door To be honest, this wasn't a technique or ability Cian had really used, at least not in the last millennia or so of his life.  Looking for someone, anyone was something he had never done, and now he was trying to find one out of an infinite number of people in the known (to him) universe.  The idea was daunting, but as he shut his eyes and blocked out the world of Sesmia, the smell of the muddy air, the heat and humidity that would have strangled him, Cian found this to be…almost peaceful.  There was something natural about the feeling of blocking out everything, reaching out with only abilities, and moving h <--

Ahhhhh, Cian's grumpy again but now so is Mercutio and I love it!! Why is grumpy so beautiful to me? Poor Mercutio looks so darn frustrated, his scarf all slipping off and oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh THE COLORS. They slay me. It's so vibrant!! The gold in the Mercutio's scarf and Cian's robe just snatches at my attention, I must stare! And the highlights in their hair! So gorgeous! And Cian's nose is still beautiful, oh mercy me

Nyahah, grumpy is always beautiful~ It's just so much fun drawing distorted faces like this.

Those facial expressions. That body language. That Cian's hair. Wait, that one doesn't work so well. Well, those three, AND THE REST OF EVERYTHING HERE, are wonderful. I just really love the subtle aspects, and how detailed you are about everything. Even the face-muscles! Mercy's face-muscles are getting quite a work-out there.
Is Cian's hair in a braid? It looks like it!

Cian's hair is always in a braid. Well, as much of a braid as is possible--with such curly hair I imagine it's a little difficult to braid.

I never noticed! I always thought it was just a ponytail. This time I noticed that the hair looked more... braid-like.

Oooo, love the harsh coloring on this one. I really like how it brings out the strong emotions to this chapter. The expressions are awesome too. You can almost hear it as Mercutio shouts at Cian, and Cian is dutifully taking it right before he finally snaps.

I also adore how Mercy's hair is messier than usual as he shouts at Cian. The little details like that. And how Cian is standing SO STRAIGHT trying to be taller than Mercutio. How the scarf his wrapped around Mercutio like a shield, or like some snake that's squeezing him too tight.

I'm so happy you dig the harsh colors on this one! You know how I like to push the vibrancy, and this chapter gave me the perfect excuse~
Nyahah, Cian tried so hard to be patient. But there's only so much he's willing to take before snapping~

Usjfbgsjb. EEEEE. You noticed how I messed up Mercy's hair, did their postures, and played with the scarf~! It's just so great how you really look at these things and get it. It really makes me happy, Grimsy.

I love it when you play with vibrancy and the sharpness of colors. The affect it gave this piece is perfect. It really brought the feelings of this chapter to life.

I did notice it! I love seeing his hair all messy like that! Makes Cian ME want to run his MY fingers through his hair and fix it.

It's just so great when I get to play with coloring like that--and actually have a good reason for it~

I want to fix it, too. Cian would totally run his fingers through his hair to fix it.
