Seeing as I cannot describe your work due to it's surreality and peculiarity that I love so much,
I will simply say that I love the negative space, and after reading your description the piece actually makes quite clear sense to me.

i love your work, it's amazingly original, thoughtful, funny, sad and cool.
i especially like this piece, i can relate to feeling as if i would feel so much better if someone would just take all my memories from me. If i hadn't read the description my original interpretation would be wanting to be rid of memories of the hospital, which, yeah i can relate to as well.
anyway, dynamic and lovely.

wow that's a great idea reminds me of what i had to do at the start of this schoolyear and where we talked all bout achives, blogs, scrapbooks, blade runner, la jetée and other stuff. There seems to be a (ex?) Microsoft guy that wants to program a software that should be able to store all of your memories digitally. So basicly I'm a big fan of the concept and how you worked it all out. Great job man.

Excuse the following tangents...
For one, I really envy and enjoy your style, that is including all the DA works and the film work on your site (which is amazing...the film work that is). I say this because for such a "fan" I feel I don't express as often as I should in return to what you show.
On this work in particular--as usual, the manipulation and everything are awesome, flawless, and show mastery. I believe that in one way, when this point is reached that the message then becomes a big selling point of a work to the viewer's ocular speheres ( ). I must say that after inspecting the work without the aide of the description, I was befuddled by what it was to convey from just the image and the title. Post-description, the meaning obviously became clear.
Because of this I feel the image could use some kind of work, but am more puzzled on a personal level as to why the conclusion wasn't drawn without the description. I mean, I wonder to myself if I "should've gotten it" or if it was alright for one to "slip by". Further, because of all this I suppose it becomes more of an introspective work, and even further, it all eventually gets to the question of "what is art..?"
Overall, I like the image visually, and the story that comes coupled with it (I still say you should make a book with all these desctiptions etc.) Well done, and I apologize for the confusion above this...very...well...odd.
Thanks.
