I think what I love most about this piece is the complete sense of the disenfranchisement of the figures atop the buildings from the environment into which they have, deliberately, and constructedly, been placed. I'm always in awe at the ways in which you show that kind of essential alienation of the human by, in a sense, prefiguring them as disjuncts -- quite literally, lost in space.

Thunderbirds used to scare me. Well, the alien enemies did. Really can't remember why though.

this reminds me heavy of a french cartoon called 'Fantastic Planet' the retro throw backs to 50's sci fi, as well as the large figures remind me of the giant aliens who were dominant over the surviving humans.
