don't really know who's rescuing who ... or probably both of them need to be rescued afterwards.those who have been watching my work probably realize i like to buy cheap notepad and re-work the (ugly blue) cover.
animal notepad were the old ones, this is the newest notepad.
the paper was from my uni envelope (hence the logo & name on the middle of the paper). lineart using Uni-ball Signo Dx 0.28 (brown-black) and colored with COPIC.

thanks! it's not a monkey actually ... i'm not sure is it's a distant relative of monkey.
it's a loris: a very slow moving mammal with thick fur and stinky smell. i used to have one but it passed away.

converse shoes ^^ i don't have them actually ... my friends told me they're cool but uncomfortable
i think what makes it special is the logo and the stamp, i'm kinda glad they work well with the drawing.

about the rambling: in (my) real life, quite a lot of ppl don't appreciate drawings and therefore don't credit the artist. kinda sad considering that all we want is to be appreciated, right?

for this one? this was drawn on an envelope. the paper is originally brown in color (the color of the tree & clouds in the picture) so i don't have to paint the paper in the first place.
i still use white paper, but mainly for sketching & scanning into computer. for digital work, it's easier to do it with light-color background.
