Maria grew quickly. Within the next few days, she was too big to carry. If she stretches her neck up, she's as tall as my chest. Her wings are still small, but they'll get bigger, and she'll fly soon. Her throat fruits haven't grown yet either, only some tiny flowers that have bloomed. When she reaches adulthood, the fruit will grow, I read.

The little Tropius hatched with an awesome moveset - she knows Synthesis, Bulldoze, Energy Ball and Air Slash. She's lonely nature, very finicky. She's definitely the most clingy baby I've had. She can't stand to be far from me, which is cute, I guess. When she talks, she talks with a faint accent of some kind. As she gets bigger and more mature, she became more comfortable with leaving my side. But even now, she still has anxiety unless she can be with someone. But it's okay, because she has Sonata.

Sonata is in seventh heaven with all her sisters. She loves Gilda and Belle, but Maria! Maria must have been her sister in another life, because they are two peas in a pod. Maria has the same flare for the dramatic. While Sonata feels her calling is being an actress, Maria? Maria loves to sing. She has a beautiful voice, one of the best I've ever heard.

So it makes sense that we found the Musicals.

Here in Nimbasa, the musicals are a big deal. Pokemon dance on stage in costume, and some sing. The moment I took Maria there, and we saw a show, she was mesmerized. Sonata loved it too, even though she prefers the silver screen. But Maria, she just lit up. The little Tropius had found her calling in life.

To her delight, I let her perform in one, and she was on cloud nine. She didn't do very well, though. But she didn't mind. She sang beautifully, just beautifully. But the audience applauded more for the Pokemon who acted a bit more. Sonata vows she'll teach Maria to be the best stage actress ever, and she'll come back to the musicals and be a star. Despite all that, Maria was overjoyed to be following her dream. She liked wearing the accessory I gave her so much, a little cluster of leaves around a bright yellow berry, that I let her keep it. She never takes it off, and it looks very cute on her.

It's been two weeks since then, though, which we've spent training. We had a little New Years party, which was fun. And right at New Years, Leon managed to evolve! He loves flying now. Fang suspects he evolved only to impress Belle, who was so happy for him. I actually stopped training Leon with the others after he evolved, mostly because his presence only agitates Fang, Leon likes it better on the ranch anyway, and I still have Marco for my fire type. Plus Belle for dragon, and ALL OF THEM for flying. Ha ha ha! Leon doesn't mind. I actually send Belle to the ranch often too, in between training, since she's a bit fragile and I worry about her defense and sp. defense.

Anyway, we trained a ton, and got everyone on the team up to level 40. It seems a bit like overkill, I guess, but I've been doing so well. Most trainers have lost a teammember by this point. And I can't stand the thought...no. No one is going to die! I won't let them. I'll be the most cautious trainer ever. If it means my little ones can survive, then I will.

I feel like a Mom. But I don't mind.

(Yeah, the musicals are sorta rigged to favor Pokemon with hands. Poor Sonata and Maria do terrible, since you can't carry props with big ole dinosaur legs, or with wings. XD Oh well, they enjoyed themselves.

Maria's name comes from Christmas, but it works on so many levels. It's Maria like Mary, mother of Christ. It's Maria, because it sounds like Mohr, and Joseph Mohr, a GERMAN priest, wrote Silent Night. And her name is also Maria, I realized, because of Maria from the Sound of Music. Ha ha ha. XD It works on so many levels!

A funny note I didn't mention, Kitt has Pickup. So he finds all sorts of items. And lately, he's been finding TONS of Sun Stones. He likes them. XD I have, like, four or five now... Ha ha ha!

So, the whole team of eight is trained now. Leon is now at level 36, and I won't be training him until further notice. Don't worry, he'll still show up from time to time, I mean, he has a crush on Belle after all. But I don't need him on the team. And seven is enough to train for now. XD So I won't put Leon's stats here anymore. But here are the rest.)
