I drew Loki again.
I'm sorry but I went over to my uncle's house for his birthday, and my little cousins have a LEGO minifigure of Loki that is just so freaking adorable that I couldn't help it fdsajfkjlfdsakljfdsklf
Don't worry, this should be it for a while again. We're gonna watch a movie with dinner tonight, but my little sister didn't agree to Thor so no Loki spam this week.
Anywayyy I think it's funny that they made him wear a muzzle, though it's a bit sad and cruel at the same time. it's mostly just funny though
Also this is the first picture I've done that's colored with Copics and then digitally colored. I like the result.
Okay, I'm done talking now.
Drawn in pencil, gone over with a Copic multiliner 0.5 and colored with gray Copic sketch markers and an anonymous black felt tip marker.
Colors and other edits made in Photoshop Elements 8.

I really like the emotion this work possesses the beaten Loki and the proud, kingly Loki. Especially since the 'beaten' version is devoid of colour and the mirrored one still remains his colour. You did another great job on this!

Originally I was going to leave it all black-and-white, then I thought about giving it a nice greenish tinge, but since that looked ridiculous I tried blue--and around that point I got the idea to color the reflection of what could have been and leave the top sad and monochromatic.

*Fangirl shreek* I have a loki figure too. But what this really speaks to me is that loki still see's himself as a king, even when he'd defeated (And personally i wouldn't mind him as a king... I wonder if he needs a queen....)

I actually see it as that he knows he's failed, that he could have been so much more, but now he can't.
xD Personally I think he's one of those characters that's best left single; a partner would ruin all that we love about him.

Gah, I feel so bad for him sometimes. Of course he kinda deserved it (it's kind of a jerk thing to do, trying to take over the world) but you can just imagine how he felt when he failed, when not long before he'd felt so close to success.
