Description

Its name comes from its strange feature, which consists in the evolution of a special integument that had the ability to cling on any uneven surface like the bark of a tree or porous stone. The reason for this is because their hunting strategy, they are able to climb trees, and remain long on vertical surfaces only supporting the bottom of its tail, so that small filaments cling to the irregular surface holding their bodies without any effort, and thus avoiding an unnecessary energy expenditure and giving him a position in which it can attack their prey without that perceives it, and so do not give time for its prey to escape. To enhance their strategy, they had developed based on the color of the bark or surface to which a pattern similar colors clings around that allowed camuflagearse them with the environment.
